How would you rate the ATI Fire GL 8700? (I can grab one fairly cheap)

One of the local retailers is blowing out the 64MB version (retail box) of this card for $120.00USD.

I haven't been able to find much info about this card, so hopefully someone around here has some experience with one. (or knows some details)

Question:

What is the core/memory speed? How does this compare to an 8500 Retail and an 8500LE Retail?

Is the 3D gaming performance good on this card?

What are the drawbacks of buying this card over an 8500 or 8500LE?

This is more of a workstation/CAD card than a gaming card. Here is an article comparing it to other cards in this market, all of the benchmarks are CAD performance: www.neoseeker.com/resourcelink.html?rid=50105. I looked at the manual for it here: www.ati.com/support/manualpdf/FGL87UG.pdf and all of the specs it gives are related to CAD performance, no Core/Mem speeds.
