How Would You Pair Up the Democratic Candidates . . . P/VP ?

Given that Kerry appears to having become the early front runner in the primaries,
who would you match up as adding the most credibility and strenght to the ticket.

A flaw that I see in the Bush continuance is that there is no continuity offered as
a Vice President being able to step up as an immediate viable candidate.
I do not see that in Cheney, his non-chrisma would doom him with the electorate.
That would only present a continuance of the Bush dynasty, with Jeb from Florida,
and Daisy-Mae from . . . to be replacement on the ballot to Conservative Repubclians.

So back to the 'Top Four' from the Denocratic primaries, and as the field dwindles -
we have in 'Approximate' order from top to bottom, in a win - place - show ranking:

Kerry
Edwards
Clark
Dean
Kucinich
Sharpton

Kucinich may be the next to drop out, as his trail is marked and it's not to the front of the pack.
I don't see him as a viable Vice President under any of the 'Front Four' either,
Sharpton won't quit - the longer hw stays in the better his credibility with a rising minority population.
But I don't see him as a Vice President at all, not even in a musical comedy.

Dean is fading as the reality of a President possibly inheriting a war that he didn't start, we don't need
another Commander in Chief who loved his country so much that he forgot to report for active duty.

Either Kerry or Clark, veterans of military action, certified brain doners.
Which brings us to continuity - and that's where Edwards fits in.

With Kerry holding the North Atlantic region of the USA, and Edwards attracting the South
we arrive at a strong pairing with a solid and substantial voting base.

I do not see as strong appeal with Clark as the Pres with Edwards as VP,
although the Tornado Belt does identify with him.

Now with Kerry/Edwards you get a mixture where although either could be Presidential material,
and in case of a catostrophe, like with Kennedy, you have a very credible instantaneous replacement,
and if there was an 8 year, 2 terms Presidency, the continuity of leadership is in place - if it deserves to be renewed.

With that as a Democratic ticket it's the alternative to Bush/Cheney.

Clark can replace Colin Powell or Rumsfeld.
Whichever he replaces we can replace the other one . . with a broom.

No mental exercise from the Pro-Republican Partisians I see, just their typical shallow thinking,
Childish mocking and trying to make fun of their heros potential opponents.

Shows a real love for America, and understanding of it's place in the world society.

I see that some species never mature beyond the mental age of a high school sophomore.

Kennedy according to Google. I guess that would be kind of funny if Kerry actually managed to get elected.

Interesting. According to the history books, that was a very close election.

This will be an interesting year. Should Kerry choose Edwards as his running mate, it'll be interesting to see how Edwards fare in the coming battle over limiting the compensation/lawsuits against doctors. How will he stand? Will he pander to one of the cashcows of the Democratic establishment, trial lawyers, and vote against this bill? We already know which way Kerry will stand. Interesting indeed, maybe I need to look up all the time Edwards has appeared before a judge.

Yeah, I've been meaning to do the same. I keep hearing how he "fought for the little guy", but sometimes the little guy is a jerk ;)

It would be interesting to see exactly what kind of trials he went after.

I'd really like to see a kerry / lieberman ticket ... however I think the most likely is going to be Kerry / Edwards. I think Clark would be a good VP too though.

I don't think Lieberman is a viable Vice President.
IN the 2000 Election I believe that he actually cost
Gore more votes than he gained for him.

No chrisma, and Al was the boring Gore-Bot.
Total boredom actually won the popular vote.

Kerry / Edwards would be my pick. However, Kerry's dry personality and recent news (which I wish had been revealed when the debates had the most impact) makes me question his potential.

And yeah, it'd be nice if Clark replaced Rumsfield. I used to like Powell much much more before he joined the administration but I'd be open to the idea of keeping him in.

Yeah, whatever dickwipe. You start insults in your pathetic first post by that little broom comment. Then you cry foul when someone says they'd rather vote for a pig. What kind of a fvcknut are you?

KK -

Why are you still here ?
You don't know sarcasm and can't even comprehend this discussion.

It always amazes me when someone can't add to an intelligent (?) discussion,
and just reverts to namecalling and mockery. Real maturity at it's best, no ?
