How would you get rid of corporate welfare? Or is it necessary?

I've run into too many people who say they want to get rid of the plutocracy and corporate welfare, but don't want to do much of anything that would get rid of it.

That leads me to believe that most people favor corporate welfare.

If you don't like corporate welfare, then what would you do to get rid of it?

What would I do?

I would abolish IP/copyrights and Amend the Constitution to disallow the Federal Government from issuing them.
I would end the MIC by amending the Constitution to disallow the military from conducting overseas operations.
I would slash the military budget by ~95%.
I would end the Fed, end fiat currency, and mandate 100% reserves.
I would end the FDA.
I would repeal the 17th Amendment and replace it with the 10th Amendment Center's suggestion, and add a section mandating that Presidential electors be chosen by state legislatures.
I would end all federal gun control.
I would Amend the Constitution to disallow the Federal Government from regulating interstate commerce.
I would repeal the HMO Act and Medicare Part D
I'd withdraw from the WTO, NAFTA, CAFTA, and the U.N.
With repeal of the 16th Amendment, I'd add a section stating that tariffs may be for revenue only.
I would end the Federal War on Drugs.
I would fire all of the Supreme Court Justices except Clarence Thomas.
I would end the FCC and Departments of Energy, EPA, Homeland Security, Education, Justice, etc.

We have to give countries money and weapons so that they be targets of war in the future and power our economy.... I'm just saying that Israel is doing fine and don't really need it.

Afghanistand and Iraq are obviously up there since we've bombed the hell out of them and need to rebuild their countries.

We are in the midst of almost 18 months of 9%+ unemployment. Government spending is out of control. The National Debt is out of control. etc.

The only reason any nation would follow our lead, is because it's easy, to defer responsibility.

No Pacs
No dinners, junkets etc
Public funding of campaigns
No congressperson can work as a lobbyist

It's obvious that doesn't work.

The "input stream" won't be stopped by limiting who is elected, the stream will be stopped when Government spending ends.

I don't think that will cut out corporate welfare. The corporations will find other ways to get their welfare from the state. Look at how Prop 19 failed because of lobbying and that was with direct democracy.

Democracy naturally becomes a plutocracy. The only way to limit the democracy/plutocracy is to take its powers away.
