I came across this quote in the AT Quote Database and it amused me. Anybody have any creative descriptions of our beloved Anandtech OT?

"ATOT's a pretty decent place. We're like a big interactive database of anything that goes "Boom"" - MercenaryForHire

I still visit because it's an instantaneous way to find out the hot news/Intarweb topics of the day. On top of that I get to view a wide range of opinions on said topics, so when the subject comes up another day in person my position on the issue is likely already thought out. In short, AT informs, educates and makes me sound smarter than I am. ;)

Please pm me of this magical forum you speak of. All I see are the self-centered, jaded, self-indulgent insignificunts of life trying to standout in a world that has already forgotten them...and hot deals.

How's this:

"Off Topic

A public meeting place, a Pub, if you will... A place for computer junkies to boldly post Off Topic... Things you might want to tell everyone... Or things you wouldn't say to anyone else."

Silly hu-maan. :p I actually learn a little every day, but maybe I'm in a better position to take something positive away from the site because of my sometimes photographic memory. So for example, today I learned:

Pros/cons on whether or not ABS is cool

How to treat swimmer's ear

Where to go if I need to advertise a software dev position in the near future

The latest state of hatred for Lager

And for anecdotal evidence of the calamity of mankind, I can spend 5 minutes in P&N. :p
