Time. It takes time to get over things. You'll know you're over something when you realize you haven't thought about it in a long time.

Getting over something = when you stop thinking about it obsessively enough to post in ATOT about it.

Shes Gone. Get over it.

You get over things when you finally come to accept the fact that it is over. If you hold on you will be in a world of pain and misery. Some things are not meant to be no matter how strong you felt. Friends help a lot too.

for me, the act of "getting over" something comes when I realize that it's been in the past ever since it happened. Along with that comes a sort of resignment that I can't change something that already hapened. Regardless of blame or what could have been done differently, all that matters is what you learned from it and how you can synthesize what you've learned to present or future events.

I tend to get over things pretty quickly because my idea is that everything happens for a reason and it all serves as some sort of important life lesson. Everyone makes mistakes, everyone has bad sh!t happen to them. But the smart thing to do would be to take what you learned from a bad situation and learn and grow from it. That's what life is all about.

Best to you!

Depends on the severity. Now a failed test, that usually doesn't last for long. I usually give it 5 mins tops :p But for relationships, depending on how close you were to the woman, err, or man, give it some time. Maybe you could try "getting ON" something, or someone.

I don't know it's possible to be 100% OVER anything. There's always those little remnants of memories lying dormant, haunting you whenever they feel up to it.
