Having my car stolen once was enough, i'd like to be protected as much as possible. Besides for all the other antitheft, such as the club and the clutch lock, i'd like to try to install my own alarm.

Where would i go to learn how to do this? This is basically a list of what i'd like/need to do:

1) power door locks
2) basic pager alarm (computech)
3) another battery so that the alarm is self powered

I'm just worried about taking it to a shop that doesn't give a rats ass about where they're installing the alarm, so long as they get paid. Any ideas?

Get a job at an alarm shop.

Practice with some cheaper stuff.

Read up on it (instruction manuals, websites, etc)

Learn how to steal cars first. Seriously.

My friend can/could steal a car in seven seconds, and can alarm a car so it is tighter than a frog's @ss.
