How would I test the PCI slots on my motherboard?

I have an Iwill KK266-R that I want to test before I put it up for sale. A while ago, when I was installing my MC462, my board got damaged right behind 1 or 2 of my PCI slots so I had to move those cards to diff slots. Thing is, I forgot which slot it is, or if it's 1 or 2 slots, so what can I do to test each PCI slot?

I suspect it's the first 2 PCI slots from the top.

I know that in slot 2 my network card will not detect/install properly, so that slot is probably bad.

But I can't use a PCI vid card in slot 1 w/ my ATI Radeon as AGP at the same time, so does that mean my PCI 1 slot is bad too? Yet my network card works ok in Slot 1.

Is there any extensive program I can use to test them, or a good component that really stresses the slots? Thanks! :D

I would think that if you tried at least two known good components and neither would detect or work properly, then it would be a safe bet that it is no good. Conversley, since the NIC works OK, now try a modem there. If it works then you should be fine in saying that that slot is OK. I don't personally know of any freebie or shareware proggy that will stress test a PCI slot, but I suspect a Modem is as good a choice as any for a test. Maybe a sound card would work if you don't have a spare 56K modem laying around.

If you have a PCI vid card, just use it to test it. Rip out that AGP Raedon, and start pluging away. Which ever one keep it from POSTing are your bad ones. :D

Alright, update: my network card will NOT detect or work properly in PCI slot 2, yet my PCI video card will work.

geez this is messed up, I think I might just sell the board "AS-IS". :\ :(
