How would I test compliance with Godwin's law?

I remember back when I was like 12 years old thinking that if you could find a parrellel to Hitler in someones statement that you had automatically won an argument. D@mn I used to be stupid. Unfortunately, there are waaay to many people that actually are 12 on internet forumes, or haven't grown up and realised this is the dumbest thing to ever invoke in an argument except in rare circumstances.
 
A statistical analysis of available threads that shows a correlation between number of posts and appearance of words such as "Nazi", "Hitler", "Rommel", and "Goering" would probably suffice.
 
1. Ask about planes, numbers, or pretty much anything.
2. Wait until the thread has progressed 20+ pages.
3. ???
4. Invoke Godwin's Law and profit.

When isn't it? I don't know about you but I don't think most people accidently spout off "That's no different from what the Nazis did!" or "---- is the Hitler of our age" by accident. Would certainly make for an interesting pschological study... Hmm....

What he is saying is calling someone a Nazi (or something similar) just so the thread will end doesn't work.
