How would I save my HotSync information if I wanted to reformat?

I recently had to send in my Visor Edge for a repair, so I backed up everything on my computer first. I have yet to receive the box they told me to send it in, so I'm not sure how long it'll be before I get it back. In the meanwhile, I'm in dire need of a reformat and I was wondering how could I save my backup information for my PDA?

Would I just save the whole Palm folder under Program Files, then after I reformat, I reinstall Palm desktop, then copy the old folder over the new one? Would that work? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

sounds good....i did the same thing for my clie when i reformated my pc...just backup-ed the old folder and replaced it

Do you have Outlook? You can use Outlook as your contact manager with your Palm then save the .pst file.
