How would i realize this wireless network scheme?

ok, here's what i'd like to do (Ignore for the moment that its going to seem really odd, just trust me that i've got a project where this is a desired scenerio):

I have a wireless network (call it wireless network 1) that is your standard run of the mill dhcp network. Inside of that, one of the clients would be anohter wireless router with its own little sub network. I know you can have wireless routers sitting on a wired network without any issues, but how would you get one to connect as a client to another wireless network?

I've attached a drawing in case my description isn't clear.

Why couldn't you just get two wireless routers... one router goes to your cable modem or what have you and the 2nd router's wan port connects to the first router?

Make sure you set different LAN IP settings so they don't conflict.
