Hello, I have
Athlon 1.2ghz 266fsb cpu
epox 8k7a+ (raid)
256mb ddr 2100
geforce2 Pro
2 20gb ibm deskstars (raid 0)

This is what i want to do. I just bought a Thermoengine cooler v60-4225 it's big HSF.
I want to overclock my 1.2 to a 1.5. do i change fsb or multiplier to get that or both. My big question do i have to screw around with the volts? and if so how? Thanx

you might want to look at your manual.

you need to set vcore with jumpers, there is a 100/133 jumper that determines what bus speeds you can then control in the bios. finally the dip switch block controls your multiplier. like i said - read your manual and go to amdmb.com and look around the epox mainboard forum.

if i were you i would set the fsb to 133 and adjust the multiplier...that way it doesnt mess witht the rest of the system as much....if you can get the cpu speed you like using the multiplier then when bother witht the fsb...adjust the voltage to your ram though and set it to 2.7 or 2.8 and set the timings in the bios to 8862222 that seems to be working well adn increases the system speed also.
have fun

I am also curious on how I can adjust the vcore to 1.85 from 1.79. If i use the jumper, it increases to 1.9 a +0.1 increase.

I maxed out my vcore and DDR volt...readings are 2.05 and 2.9. Helps me keep it stable.
