How would I install this CPU cooler?

Bought a cheap CPU cooler as I'm building a low profile ITX 1155 PC sometime this week and my Intel CPU cooler came broken, so I bought this. Unfortunately it did not come with Instructions and the website is void of any help. My idea of installing it is to take the backplate off and put it to the back of the mobo whilst installing the cooler.

The cooler is the Xilence i240, it's a German company

Install it just the way you thought, backplate on the back of the motherboard.

There are a lot of videos like this on Youtube. You actually get a pretty good shot of the backplate towards the end of that video. You may have to remove the motherboard from the case to install w/ backplate.
