How would I go by converting digital toslink to analog (RCA, headphone jack output)

I have a GTXP and it creates a lot of noise throught the headphone jack. I am thinking that the toslink connection on the back is a lot cleaner source. How would I go by connecting a headphone to the toslink connection?

you don't
although you could it would cost alot(but would sounds worlds better)

you need an external DAC and then the DAC to go to a headphone amp

Besides the fact that you'd need some sort of external D/A convertor?

I will at some point... I'll probably get the amp before i get the dac... but the amp would bring out all the problems with the headphone jack.. maybe there is a headphone amp *with* a dac?

Your getting an incredible pair of headphones that are going to sound like crap because they arn't going to be powered suficiently!
Here, I'll make a trade with you, I'll trade you my sony MDR-V600s for your Senheisers and I bet that you won't be able to tell a difference :D

very good amp
The headroom little isn't too expensive and apparently is extremly good and if you want to upgrade, you can always get the regulated powersuply
