How would I go about putting an xbox 360 on my 2405FPW?

I tried it in the past and was able to get a video feed without a problem, but from what I recall I wasn't able to get an audio feed in. Is tehre any chance anyone knows how I would be able to manage to get the audio on as well?

Yea..just looked it up. It's a monitor only...how does the audio get "in", and then "out"?

So I guess the question is what are you hoping to use as speakers... and then why aren't you going straight to that?

Um...maybe because it is a computer monitor that does not have speakers? You need a separate set of speakers to handle the audio.

I was hoping to get some computer speakers and just use those. But, if there is an easier way, I can get those speakers (haven't bought the speakers that I'm going to use yet).

You just need an adapter to get stereo output.

If you wan 5.1, you'd be best off either getting a set of computer speakers with a digital input (Like Logitech z-5500s) or getting a HTIB or some real speakers and a receiver.

You could also get "fake" surround sound with some adapters and a 5.1 set with just analog inputs.

this will be a problem i am going to run into with the wii if i get one.

i want to use my 2005fpw but i don't have any speakers that take composite cables.

my only other option is to use an old 19" crt tv with an rf modulator.

I use one of those composite switches where you can hook in multiple inputs and use one at a time. I have the component cables going into the 2405, and the rca audio cables going into the switch. The switch has an rca output which goes to my stereo for the sound, works quite well.

Not that there's anything wrong with that, but why not run straight to the stereo? Do you have other sources plugged into the switch as well?

Yeah I have 3 additional things in there as well, so it works for me. I could get rca extensions to go into my stereo, but the switch is right underneath my monitor.

I just didn't want Qosis thinking that he needed a switch to do something an adapter would do if he only has one source he needs.

There are like $2 adapters that take the red and white composite wires and make them into a minijack plug. Most new computer speaker sets come with this adapter...I probably have 1 or 2 laying around somewhere. This is how I have my X360 currently setup with some Logitech Z5300 speakers.

For some reason I'm thinking the 2405 doesn't have a VGA in. I might be wrong. I use the VGA cable to attach it to my 2005 and it works really well.

I think it does, although I don't own one

It does.
