How would I go about purchasing a black alienware case?

Im looking for the actual alienware case or exact replica. Ive seen the antec and chieftec 1040 cases... im not digging how the vents are curved. The alienware case has the vents going straight across. Looks so much nicer IMO.

EDIT: BAH just called their sales #.. I asked if they sell the cases individually.. simply said no.

Well, that's all part of the attraction (lure) of the Alienware systems. Chieftec is making a lot of new variants of its original case, so you may want to take a look at those. I know www.directron.com has quite a few

They have cases that are virtually the same. All made by a company called Chenming. From chenming, alienware and chieftec etc. customize their cases.

The Best Buy around my place has an empty Alienware case... i asked them if it was for sale and they said no... but it's been sitting there for awhile... i'm sure they'll sell it if you give them the right price...

Oh oops... sorry about that... didn't see the "black" part... it's actually blue... It's the Atwater Best Buy... right next to Costco.

Dont bet on it. When they killed the deal with Micron, there was a Micron case sitting there for months that I tried to buy. The boys in blue had no answers for me so I picked it up and went to the checkout(LOL) only to be told by a manager that it wasnt for sale and he was removing it from the shelf. I offered 65 bux for it, but he kept refusing. Back in the day I also inquired about buying a case from alienware only to get a reply saying eat s*** and die(in so many words, lol)

I think the cases are kinda ugly, overly generic, and annoying with the swing door over the drive bays. I think a weekness of Alienware is the fact that they offer only the one case design, but to each his own.

Totally agree. Some thing sleeker for the prices they charge would be cool. I must say however, that they were the best customer service and always helped me if something went wrong. Great company.

The Best Buy in Salt Lake City (South State St) has just the Alienware cases (no power supply) for $115 or $119...something like that.

topic was how i would go about getting the case.. not your opinion jp. I just gotta black sony monitor.. I have black klipsch 4.2 speakers.. just need a black case, I absolutely love the ALIENWARE style.and black keyboard.. and im set.

Okay should I contact my local best buys and inquire about alienware cases? If worse comes to worst.. would it be possible for you to make a purchase on a "black" alienware atx tower? All I need is the case.. NOTHING else.

Ha! On my 20th bday... i was walking around Best Buy and i saw a Micron Millenia case... and i asked if it was for sale and they gave it to me for $35... ...too bad trying to find parts for it is a b!tch... oh well... i just kept it anyway... ...this was the Best Buy in the City of Industry BTW. If you want that alienware case sooo bad... go order one from Chenming... you can design it anyway you want... but you're gonna have to order a truckload... ... jk. Cases like those are usually hard to get anyway... good luck...

hahaha.. I was going to attempt that but just thought it was to much of a hassle. hehe I dont understand why their systems are so insanely expensive??? goodness. I just love their case!

antec, chenming, chieftec, etc cannot compare to aliens!!!!!! hehe they manufacture for alienware, correct?
