how would hd6850 perform in 2560x1600?

I know its already not the best with 1080p in many newer games but I wonder how it will be with even higher res.

thanx, but their setup is with i7 920 @ 3.8ghz, should I expect a bigger hit or less with much slower cpu ?

well a Core 2 quad at 3.1 will be a slight limitation in general for some games but really the 6850 will be the main limitation for sure at 2560. as you can see many games are not going to be playable anyway unless you significantly reduce settings.
