How would a stock Q6600 compare to dual Xeon 5100s?

How would these processor configurations compare?

Q6600 - 2.4ghz (Quad Core)
Dual Xeon 5100s - 2.0ghz (Dual core x 2; Quad cores @ 2.0ghz)

Would the Xeons be faster than the Core 2 Quad Q6600, or would the Q6600 offer better performance all around?

In desktop usage, the Q6600 will be faster. As a server, the Xeons will kill it. So, it all depends on what you plan on doing with this/these processors.
