If a patient is checked into a hospital and starts showing clear signs of Hemorrhagic Fever and that the patient has recently been over seas to Africa. What would the hospital do? What about other patients who have already come into contact with the current patient. What about staff and their families?

I was just thinking with all of the travel around the world, and people adventuring around, one day someone is bond to infect them self with some terrible disease and bring back here.

I'm guessing that the hospital would be quarantined and the CDC would be called.

Hospital goes into quarantine for a period of time. People are tested and made to wait it out collectively until individually they are ascertained to be clean. Otherwise they are treated within the hospital and outside people in sealed biohazard suits assist.

I saw an educational video about this put out by the CDC.

The entire town would be quarantined. Army would probably take over, jam communications, and take the sick off to isolation units.

Most likely caused by a monkey that Dustin Hoffman will have to hunt with a tranq gun, though they unfortunately won't find it until Kevin Spacey gets some nasty bloody zits all over and croaks.

EDIT: I like the way OCGuy thinks

Alter-Olivia and Alter-Charlie would use an amber-bomb quarantine thing and you'd be frozen forever.
