Say you were a girl, and you talked to this wonderful charming guy (ha, I wish)..at a party for a little while, and who turned out to be from your little hometown 350 miles away that no one's ever heard of..and ended up going to the same elementary, middle, high school, and college in a strange twist of fate..as well as being in the same major as you.

The guy ended up too much of a pussy to ask for any contact information afterward, and resorted to e-mailing you after a search in the UCLA directory. How would you react, and what would you like to see in this e-mail?

Depends on how she felt about the sender before getting the e-mail. Keep it light, friendly, see what kind of answer you get back.

I would wonder what was wrong with them I think.

If you both know the person who hosted the party, contact them and ask him/her to forward your email and/or phone # on to the girl, less creepy.

That's true, it's more of 'stalking light' :p I would probably still wonder why the mysterious email instead of asking for info in person, but if I liked the person I would probably be OK with the followup contact.

I'm sure you can let all of us first hand about how she reacts.

doesn't sound like stalking to me. so if she doesn't respond or gives you a brushoff reply, and you continue to contact her then.....it's starting to become stalkerish.

Start by saying you feel like a dumb ass for not asking her for her number in the email. Then explain who you are and that you found her very interesting and decided that you could look her up in the student directory.

I think if she's scared off by the email, she probably didn't like you anyway.

Or you could get a telescopic lens and watch her shower. You know whatever works.
