How will we kill Saddam?

So when we find Saddam how will we kill him? I'm thinking a public hanging in the USA! How about if the army beheaded him and they brought back his head to America to show President Bush!! Yea!!! I would pay to see something like that!!! Or will his ass get riddled with American bullets? Or how about a sniper shot to the soft part of his skull? Aim... Fire.. then BOOM! Your dead! lol... That would be so cool.

So how will Saddam go out?
 
The words DELTA FORCE by themselves sound scary enough...

At any rate... I picture it to be like a game. In the end, the troops will storm into the "boss'" bunker (after taking a few hits themselves) and finally... kill 'em all... then it fades to black...
 
he won't be captured

i think the most likely scenario is he is killed by missiles/bombs

next most likely is he leaves the country

troops capturing him alive i think is least likely
 
He is not going to be killed purposefully...he may choose to go down fighting....which will involve a quick explosive death...or he will be captured and held indefinitely...I don't see him getting capital punishment as much as I think he deserves it.
 
I doubt he'll be captured alive but if he is he has to be subjected to 15 rounds straight in the ultimate fighting championship, no tap outs allowed.
 
He won't and can't be killed. If you kill someone they become a martar for their casue and will gather far more supporters then before. That will incure terrorist attacks, random violence, riots, bombongs etc.

Why do you think he is still alive? We could have killed him anytime over the last 12 years......

Nothing would please me more than seeing a rehash of what happened against milosevic: The people rising up and storming where he was.

Of course Saddamn will be hidden somewhere. I don't believe he'll play hide and go seek like Bin Laden though. None of those silly games this time.

I hope you were exaggerating Skoorb! Because I don't see how the lives of all the citizens of Baghdad would in any way equate to the life of Saddam Hussein.

Well it was mentioned that if we wanted him dead he'd be dead, but frankly he isn't sitting in his presidential palace on floor 3 room 18 every day at 12:00 for his meeting. He has body doubles and moves around constantly so really unless you dropped a whole whack of crap on Baghdad chances are you'd not be likely to hit him.

Thankfully the US isn't going to pummel baghdad haphazardly with ordnance, and a delta team or satellite + smart bombs will be what take saddamn out. I would expect that as people surrender the coalition will use information they give to help limit the search radius and eventually pinpoint where he is. I don't think he'll be running around for long.

I say all this based upon my three tours overseas as a special forces commander 😉

12 years to narrow him down, including intelligence from their side, our undercover operatives. Sniper at 1 mile range. In capability of our resources.

Not much you can do about that. On the bright side Saddamn is not the religious figurehead that normally is associated with martyrdom. A lot of people will think he was an evil SOB when he dies.
