They backordered me - it won't come until about 10/22/08.
Bummer :(
I can't cancel & order a different one because the PO has already went through our system & it's a major problem to cancel & reorder.

Oh well, I guess it gives me something to look forward to.

Hmm, I see I won't be staying ahead of you long when you get that! :p;), maybe I shouldn't of switched a core back to DPAD so soon!

How much L2 cache do the T series have?

Ok, cpuz says I have SSE 4.1 so that's the optimized seti AK I got.
Kind of a bear figuring out Vista for the first time but I got it loaded up right after a while.
Had to take ownership of the C drive and all folders so I could even see them.

Well it is fast.

6 MB cache C2 2.8 T9600 cpu 2GB DDR3 @ 1066mhz.

It runs fast, it seems to be climbing up in RAC pretty quick.
I suppose it takes a while before it levels off and then I'll know what it is.
It's averaging two enhanced WU's in around 48 minutes.

:D

my e7200's look like they're going to level off at closer to 2500 using the v8.0 science app...look for around 3000 ppd for your lappy once it levels out :):):)

It did a stack of WU's last night two at a time per every 13 minutes.
However this morning I found Vista had turned off the wireless and forgotten the key to connect to the network.

There's going to be a lot of WU's to report when I get home from work!

Heh - it had about 100 WU to report when I got home from work.
I could get used to this... ;)

how's the cooling on your laptop? my t7250 is a cheap-o dell unit. I usually only have the cpus set to run 90% of the time b/c it tends to get a bit hot if I don't give a little break here and there.. also, it's very loud as the fan is always running at 100%.

The T400 is built really well.
Very nice cooler, it's hard to even notice it getting warm except the stream of warm air coming out the vent. ;)

Great jump in output mate :D, IIRC your RAC was ~2400 & now it's upto ~4300 & climbing!:Q:cool:.

My total RAC had levelled off to ~2400 with just 2 cores of my quad crunching SETI, however since I've upgraded mbrds (from Nvidia 650 to Intel P45) it's gone upto ~3000 despite temporarily dropping the clock speed down to 2.7 GHz! (until I've tested it properly, currently testing at 2.9 GHz). The increased total RAC does seem to be coming from my rig too.

Nice machine. Isn't Lenovo what IBM used to be?

Yes, IMHO it is a thinly disguised IBM...

Nice machine. I saw my RAC hit 5K the other day, that was very nice ;)
