Why not try to portray her as being a brainless bimbo who's a Christian nutjob like the way Katherine Harris was portrayed in the HBO movie Recount?

So to teach Gay is OK and Billy has 2 Mommies is acceptable, to force kids to practice Islam is ok, but to teach creationism and evolution is somehow bad?
I think maybe your looking at this with some seriously narrow blinders. Unless you yourself support gay and islamic indoctrination of schoolchildren. Push your party's agenda and discredit the competition's as...What was it? "ooga booga mystery oil religious dogma".....Unless its Islam, then its ok.
You are seriously deluded
Am I wrong? Answer the question, keep the fluff to your bowling club.
Is it ok to teach Gay is OK and make students practice Islam in school, but not teach creationism?

I know that it was way back in the thread and I haven't gotten to any real responses to this question yet so I figured I would chime in...
Specop007, people being gay is a reality that is scientifically observable so it should be taught in either biology or sociology (both sciences). Please demonstrate the same level of observable and verifiable evidence/proof of creationism/god and you can have it introduced into science class as well.
Oh, and please show evidence that Islam is being forced/taught in PUBLIC schools (not religious-based schools because if that is your basis, then you have to disband all christian schools also).
Kthxbye!

Perhaps people with no intention of terminating a pregnancy under any circumstances would still like to know about the health of the fetus. Perhaps they would like to know of any coming challenges, so that they can mentally prepare for those challenges. There are more reasons for amniocentesis than you contemplate.Originally posted by: BMW540I6speed
Palin's apparent hypocrisy on "the right to choose"...
As reported, Palin apparently underwent testing that revealed her fifth child had Down's syndrome. What purpose did this testing serve other than to provide an option to terminate the pregnancy in case of harm to the mother and fetal abnormality?
Palin and her husband undoubtedly discussed their options when confronted with this unfortunate news, and reached a decision based on their own beliefs and circumstances.
But the important fact is that they were able to make that "choice" for themselves. Palin, McCain and the Republicans would deny that choice to all Americans if elected.
The choice she made with regard to her Down's child will turn out to not be as useful as some think, precisely because it was a "choice." She exercised her right to choose, but she would to take that right away from other women. It's a dead end. There's no Rovian "he-said, she-said" manipulation behind it.

I'd say keep everyone's fucking hands off my kids and quit teaching agendas, whether secular humanistic or religious. Push the gay agenda or creationism or whatever at home and leave my son and daughter alone.

Here's another good piece of vetting work.
Remember that tiny town Palin was the mayor of? She ran it into financial ruin with her pet project, and managed to screw up a huge eminent domain seizure along the way, costing the city millions.
<snip>
The real legacy is, that the city is still paying for this today, while having to cut budget in library service, postponing capital improvement projects, and raising fees.
Can we afford this kind of incompetence on the national level?

She helps McCain with the females and arch-conservatives. But she has serious baggages as you've just mentioned. Worse, with Russia absorbing those two breakaway regions, I can't imagine a mother of five being aggressive towards a nation like that and them taking her seriously. She's no Margaret Thather or Golda Meir. Worse, she has zero economic opinion other than drilling and breast pumps.
This was a huge gamble on McCain's part.
