I'm planning on getting on getting a new laptop (Dell Inspiron 8200or Toshiba Satellite 5105-S607) in the next few weeks with a mini-PCI wireless network card which I guess connects to an internal antenna. I have a wireless network set up at home, but I also have a spare wired port on my router for my present laptop.
At times, I may want the extra transfer rate of the wired network. So, how can I "turn off" the wireless network so that it uses the integrated LAN port instead (without, of course, removing the mini-PCI)?
Hrmmmm...
Also, check the poll real quick.
