How will I know if my PC100 RAM doesn't work at PC133?

I usually run it at cas2, but I decided to set it to "auto" and set it to 133MHz. I'm not having problems yet, but.. How will I know if I -am- having problems? Lock-ups, spontaneous rebooting, etc?

Hrmm, well.. Everything seemed okay until I went into UT.. Got a blue screen with "VXD VMM" and "VXD VMOUSE." I guess that's the proof that I need.

All I know about it is that it's NEC. I tried setting it as cas3 and I got the same problem..

Well it probably won't cut it at 133 then. Right now I have my PC100 Memory at 143! Yes 110 FSB and 133 mem clock but at CL3. I plan on unlocking my Duron soon as I get the loctite stuff.

PlunX,
looks like the ram cant hang at 133, but it sux for you to be so close yet still a no go. have you tried with just one stick, the increace in memory prefomance might be worth the trade of 64mb?

Subversal,
would't that ram be at 147 with a 110fsb, unless its not running hclk+pciclk (110+37), but some other way that i am not aware of? either way thats still the best i have ever heard for pc-100, so what brand is it and whats the nano-second rating? belive it or not i have some syncmax pc100 cas3 that is doing 133 cas2 just fine, its 7ns, not bad for the cheap stuff.
