How will I install new OS?

Hi i'm expecting to get a new Dell Dimension 4550 any day now. I want to take that hard drive out and use my new 80GB hard drive. Will I be fine installing XP home edition that comes with it since it will be preinstalled in the original hard drive and maybe even registered and activated? Thank you guys.
 
Most new hard drives come with software that will format the new hard drive and then copy all of the OS and data over. Try looking on the drive manufacture?s web site if you don't have this software.
 
You should be fine installing XP on the new drive. I don't even think that the XP Dell ships needs to be activated. I did this with my Fujitsu-Siemens, no problems.
