how/where can i see other networked computers?

i have 4 machines, 3 are running off a wireless router. I can see what machines are connected in the router software, but i cant see any in "my network places" is there some way i can see this?

Im trying to set up a doom3 lan

Hi,

You haven't mentioned too much info so I'm guessing a bit here (OS, network settings, etc)

A couple of things to check:

Are the machines all on the same network/subnetwork?
Do you have any kind of firewall running on the PCs that block NetBIOS packets?

try typing your workgroup name. ex. \\mshome
