In recent years, the international community has sounded the alarm on the deteriorating political and human rights situation in the United States under the regime of Donald Trump.
Now, as the country marks 100,000 deaths from the coronavirus pandemic, the former British colony finds itself in a downward spiral of ethnic violence.
The fatigue and paralysis of the international community are evident in its silence, America experts say.

The country has been rocked by several viral videos depicting extrajudicial executions of black ethnic minorities by state security forces.
Uprisings erupted in the northern city of Minneapolis after a video circulated online of the killing of a black man, George Floyd, after being attacked by a security force agent.
Trump took to Twitter, calling black protesters “THUGS”’ and threatening to send in military force.
“When the looting starts, the shooting starts!” he declared.


Pretty accurate if America was a 3rd World country ruled by a tyrant.

It's a really sad day when the Chinese propaganda can easily one up the our country when it comes to peaceful and democratic. In response to our State Department commenting about how China is oppressing Hong Kong citizens, their one liner basically destroys the US and any credibility it has on the world stage as a Democratic Leader and they are right. Sad fucking state of affairs.

Trump's reactions have been horrible, but let's not forget that these problems have been systemic for a very long time. Not just Decades either, but since the very founding of the Nation itself. Previous Presidents placated/calmed things down, but never were able to solve the problems associated with it.

It's not just Racism either, but Militarization as well. Both with Equipment and also Tactics. Even before this incident, for eg, the actions of the NYPD in regards to Covid-19 retsriction enforcement was exposing a Police State mentality.
