How well would this detect a problem

Say you have a computer that boots just fine but gets random errors. You're not sure if it's a PS, video, memory, or cpu problem. Would this be able to detect what it is?

I know my Epox 8k7a had something like this on the motherboard that would show POST codes but it would only show a code if the computer had a problem booting.

If you're fixing a number of computers that gets pretty time consuming
