How well would my KT266 reference board perform?

My cousin in Taiwan gave me a Via KT266 reference board. He works for Samsung and a customer gave it to him. The southbridge seems to be week 9 and unlike the preview boards that I've seen online, it has a black heatsink on the northbridge (not that this would make a difference). Also, the board is labeled as a VT5431E. How well do you think this board would perform? The previews that I've seen from a while ago seemed to vary from board to board. Also, how stable do you think this board would be? Since I got it for free, I think I'm going to build a system using it. Of course, I'll still get a retail board in a few months.

It's fairly impossible to tell how stable or well performing that board would be. Considering the KT266 was problematic at birth, I wouldn't build a system around an unknown commodity like your board. I would visit eBay.
