How well does the 12cap p4 3.0c overclock?

I read that newegg is now shipping the 12 cap model. I plan to overclock and was wondering if anyone have success with this model.

i've tried a few at work... they hit around 3.45 ~ 3.5ghz on cheap mATX boards. very unstable too. one of them crashed within a few seconds after booting into windows @ 3.45 (230FSB)

they don't seem to have that much potential. getting a 30 cap one would be best.

what is the difference between 12 caps and 30caps? I have a 30 cap 3.0C, but my rig runs too hot to overclock well anyway ...

Just got a 3.0c from the Egg...

It was 30 cap sl6wk, 3/8/04 pack date.
