Pizza hut messed up my order the other night so they sent me two extra pies and cinna-sticks to make ammends.. A kind gesture and much appreciated but now I have four large pizza pies sitting in the fridge.. I know take out pizza gets gross in a few days so I vacuum sealed 2 pies and shoved them in the freezer - how long do you think this will stay before it gets gross?

Is a pie same as a pizza?

I wrap pizza slices in saran wrap and throw them in the freezer, it works great. When you're hungry just microwave til they get warm.

Should be good for awhile, weeks to months depending on the freezer and storage bag. I have frozen leftover pizza many times before, usually I put 1-2 pcs in smaller bags to freeze but I'm sure your method will be fine too.

How the hell did you vacuum-seal a large pizza?

Do you run a meat-processing plant out of your house?

It'll be fine for awhile, especially vacuum sealed.

You could reheat the slices in the microwave, but I find that 6-7 minutes in a 400 degree oven gives much, much, much better results.

Well if you were Pinhead's bowling ball then that might not be so bad.

I used a Food Saver vac sealer and a large bag - fit around two pies worth of slices in it (remember, pizza hut pies are smaller than your average local joint's)
