How well does 2005fpw handle interpolation?

Curious about this due to the odd aspect ratio.

Been playing "Silent Hunter III" a lot lately, and the game ONLY supports 1024x768 resolution - no higher options, no lower options.

How is that going to look on a 2005fpw? How well does it handle pixel interpolation?

Also considering a 2001fp instead - is that any better? (Or worse? Seems to be an older LCD panel - 16ms vs 12ms)

Both panels are good with interpolation/scaling of lower resolutions. On the 2005FPW, you would have three options for a resolution like 1024x768 - there's Fill (which fills the screen, regardless of aspect ratio), 1:1 (which would display the actual pixels, resulting in a somewhat small 4:3 image in the middle of the screen), and Aspect (which scales the image up as large as it'll go while still keeping the 4:3 Aspect Ratio, which on the 2005FPW would leave black bars on the sides).
