How well do the 1.2gig T-birds overclock?

I've been itching to spend my tax rebate to bolster the sagging electronics industry and the Dow.
I have been thinking of going with the retail 1.4gig or 1.2gig Retail units at Newegg.
Should I buy the 1.2gig and "hope" to get 1.4+gig, or are these not doing so well on overclocking?

What setting do you have? It depends on it, but most do very well. Lots of people have said their 1.2 runs at anything up to 1.5

When you say setting, i'm assuming you mean AMD's product code? I have'nt bought the CPU yet, it's an upgrade. I would wait and may wait for Palomino, but i'm worried now that my motherboard will not support it due to the new found problems with Palomino @133MHz.

I got a 1200C(4.6.2) doing 1420( 142 x 10) stable on a A7V133.
Between 1420 and 1450 i get some flaws (specles) running 3dmark2001.

I am picking up problems above 1450, using the defaul 1.75V on my core.
Im gunna take her higher, but need better cooling before i up my vcore above 1.75V

My old 1,2 did 1400 without any problems, had to have the vcore at 1,85 though, wouldn't boot on anything above. Stilll, 140x10 is okay, I thínk my pc133 ram was holding my fsb back.
To reach 1400 is quite realistic, most people I've heard about have done it.
