Hi,
I was wondering if the Terratec DMX 6Fire and M-Audio Revolution work well with recent EASport games, etc.. In an article on Tomshardware over here they mention at the bottom of that page that with the DMX 6Fire sometimes sounds are missing or patchy. Apparently this has something to do with the fact that the DMX 6Fire does not have DirectSound 3D in its hardware unlike the Audigy cards. How is this with the Revolution card?!Is this something somebody has noticed when playing sport games like those from EASports (or in other games)?! Or perhaps anybody has experience with both the Audigy and 6Fire or Revolution and can tell me if it makes a difference in games, like missing sounds, etc.. I don't really understand what Tomshardware means by that, but that's what they say on that page (see url above)! I would mainly like to know this for sport games like those from EASports as those are the ones I play the most!
Thanks very much!!
Mike.
