I friggin hate my roommate, just my luck I get an inconsiderate German exchange student who is pure muscle and no brain. Dude wakes up at ~3pm if not later and goes to sleep around ~3 am (thats right, he sleeps ~12 hours a night) this guy is messy and noisy. He plays his tv really loud, and studys a total of 1 hour a day if any, rest of the time he's either watching tv or on the phone with someone from Germany. This C***sucker had the nerve to take my bed and join it with his so that he could sleep with his girlfriend, and when i confronted him about it he threatened to beat me up. So how well did you get along with your roommate?

Kick him in the nuts. Or move.

I'm getting along fine with mine so far. He comes in drunk off his a$$ occasionally but nothing bad has happened yet (normally he just goes to sleep). Out room is generally solomon-like. My half is relatively neat and organized, his is a rat's nest. Once he pissed in a bottle for no reason and left it open (he was drunk) and that made the room smelled like piss, but opening the window cured that. When he's sober he's a pretty cool guy.

I did not get along with my room mate. He had transferred from a private school. We were going to a state school. He hated the school and thought it and everyone who attended it were beneath him.

He made a big deal of being Greek Orthodox or something. He kept talking about it. I am not a Christian, didn't care, and never talked about religion. After a month he started getting hostile about religion. He said I had mock his religion or something.

I was dating a woman and he let me know that he did not approve of her and or was it sex outside of marriage. He would say things like "I know a person can live without sex". I never talked to him about relationships and definitely did not ask for his opinion.

I moved to a single the next semester and I have try to avoid roommates since.

got along ok with both roommates, though none of us hung out in the same social circles. one dude was a god-fearing korean, and the other had a tendency to toss his newspapers under his desk, forming a pile of used newprint.

Freshman year, not well at all.

Had a different roommate sophomore year, and he was awesome. Couldn't have been better.

I'm in my first year (stuck in a doubles suite, but it isn't a craphole). I tolerate my roommate, but would never want to room with him again. The two suitemates are okay as well. Next year, I'm just going to go for a single suite (individual rooms, shared bathroom).

Loved my roommate. She and I were perfect for each other: considerate, could talk about anything, liked to work out together, the list goes on. We were roommates for two years and aren't even really friends anymore--it's slightly sad.

Call her!
