Wake @ 7:40 thinking about end-turns and making city improvements because I played Civ 2 all day yesterday
Wake @ 10:40 for class, can't get roommate to go to class.
EE20N class, lunch @ 12:00, EE20N discussion, done at 5
Did nothing else except play EVE-Online, Civ 2, or watch Bleach

Get to work at 08:00
Finish documentation in a frenzy because latest updates came in this morning
Get roped into presenting the new process with no prep time at 11:15

Worked today, that was decent. But, the strange part, it must of been a contact me day, heard from more people today. 🙂 Funny, how that happens all at once sometimes.

Commute 7:30am - 10:30am
Lunch 2pm, at Brazillian BBQ in Farmers Market
Work til 7pm.
Drive home, 2 hours.
Sleep.
Repeat.
 
fvcking awesome! Got my Dual Core Opteron 170 today so my system is complete and up and running, I got my work laptop in today 🙂, and the work I had done on my suspension only cost me $175 including an oil change and having my winter tires put on and balanced (Thought this was going to cost me $500+ easily). All in all a very good day 🙂

Phone rang at 5:30, part time gig wanted me to come work for them, couldn't was working my FT job.

Phone rang again @ 5:35, FT job needed me to come in early, ( that's an instant $30 + time & a half, so I came in early)

Gave a crapload of morphine, fentanyl, meperidine.

Had a patient develop a tachyarrythmia, had him admitted for monitoring.

Came home...
 
Worked from home over VPN, went to office and proceeded to nef horribly til I left and came home to prepare meals to deliver tomorrow to my invalid father, in the meantime, think I'll drown my sorrows in cheap wine and even cheaper vodka.
 
12AM-2:30AM finishing project for one of my classes
7AM wake up, submit the project electronically, print out the hard copy
(had to miss work, again, dammit)
7:30-9:00 study for the quiz for another class
9:20-11:00 study for the quiz again on my way to the class/before the class
11:00-14:00 school, taking two quizes today, and surprise - getting another two projects assigned two weeks before the end of semester, this sucks
14:00-15:00 sitting in the library, looking for books on yet another project for my AH class
15:00 checking out two overnight books from reserve in the library
16:45 back home
16:45-19:00 eating, cheking email, getting some sleep on the account of studying till 2:30AM
19:00-21:30 pouring over the books I checked out in the library and another book I bought from ebay
21:30-21:45 pissed off because the books I checked out in the library are totally useless, at least the third book from ebay has some useful stuff in it
21:45-22:30 showering, eating
22:30-now checking forums, googling info on homework that is due friday and I have no idea how to do it


In case you didn't notice this semester blows... I have had 7 projects so far, each has taken 8-24 hours to do. The teachers and TAs are unhelpful, they dump the project to be written in a language I (and most of the other students) see for the first time, without explaining anything and expect us to work it all out in one week without any decent documentation and the one that we have is absolutely inconsistent with multiple errors. Today I heard TA telling another student "I shouldn't be debugging the program" well wtf are you getting paid for then? You don't explain ****** and expect us to work out everything by ourselves? The tests in classes have material not covered in class, now I don't mind that, I can do research, that is if I have time. The problem is I don't have spare time and if I start digging for material myself where the hell do I stop? And as I said above I have another project due this Tuesday that I barely started and yet another two on the 30th of November, unfortunately I won't be able to start them untill I submit the first one on Tuesday, for which I'm afraid I will have to ask for extension too. I can't even count the number of days I had to completely skip both school and work to complete my projects/study for the tests. This semester is seriousy f-ed up...
