How was your day so far?

well i've had breakfast, done laundry, painted some furniture, been to the mall, had lunch, done more laundry, and ordered cable service for my new apt. i'd say pretty full so far. i'm about to go iron the stuff i just took out of the dryer.
 
Since about 7pm last night, I've had to deal with a 7 hour long power outage (with temperatures in the teens), frozen pipes, and a kid who is off school for the rest of the week due to a fire at his school.

I'm really tired.
 
I just had a phone call from a "lady" - I'm using the term loosely - who couldn't believe I expected her to actually take the time to familiarize herself with our contract so she'd know what would happen when she terminated it. She demanded to talk to "someone else", so I gave her my boss's number - the l.d. one, not the toll free. 🙂
 
work up... drank coffee... checked email...fed the cats, let them out.... let them in for lunch, let them back out... folder laundry... cleaned the bedroom... here I sit.

Pretty much like every day.

Sounds like exactly what my roomate did today....... you sure you arent him and I just dont know about it?

My day's not so bad. I'm a little bored, and a little sleepy.

I was in Bali and Taiwan for the past two weeks, and I just got back on Sunday night. I'm still kind of jet-lagged.

I came to work on Monday and submitted my resignation. It's the first time I've ever quit a job, and I was nervous. My boss looked like he was going to cry.

Today is my last day of work. We don't need to give two week's notice, and I took full advantage of the fact.

I've got an "exit interview" this afternoon, some light work still needs to be done, and then I'm meeting a friend for dinner tonight.

I need to drive down to LA tomorrow and get my security badge and stuff all worked out at the new job. I'll spend the afternoon at home and cleaning up and packing a bit.

The movers show up on Friday to pack up the rest of my stuff and move it to storage. The new job starts on Monday.

I'm a little stressed, but I'll manage.

Sorry to hear your day isn't going so well. Hope it gets better.
 
I woke up with a cold and it has been snowing constantly all day--up to about 8" of the stuff now, I'd say. So basically, mine sucks as well.
