Atrocious. Effing cold more annoying than snow. It went below -10 C for weeks at a time.

This Winter was a factor in my move from Cincinnati, OH to New Orleans, LA.

Cincinnati was a tiny bit better though from where I grew up near Grand Rapids, MI. It was 74 degrees in NOLA today. There's probably still snow on the ground in GR.

Long, cold, and brutal. Coldest winter in Toronto in 30 years. Coldest March in almost 50 years. The ice storm we had back in December left a huge mess. A lot of which still hasn't been cleaned up. Then January and February where you'd wake up and it'd be -20 all day, -30 with the wind chill. We're just not used to it.

Even now it's almost the start of April but it's still below normal. Was trying to snow earlier today. More like mid-December.

Loved it. Winter was amazing with so much snow. The prolonged cold weather preserved any snow fall and allowed the ski resorts to blow even more snow. I've done some of the best skiing of my life this winter. Cant believe April is here and I am still skiing southern to mid NH and VT and the snow is excellent; even the glades are excellent! This time of the year in a normal ski season I would be skiing places like Jay Peak and Sugarloaf which are far north and near the Canadian border. I might be still skiing come May!

Not enough rain but otherwise just about perfect. One of the warmest winters on record. Sunny, dry, sunny, warm, sunny, what wasn't to like?

Miserable. Even Weather Channel said we had it the worst. D:

In Connecticut, this was the 3rd coldest March and not a single inch of snow fell :hmm:. If it did snow another 15", we would have set the snowiest AND coldest winter in the past century and a half.

Warm and hardly any rain. Fuckin drought. BRING ON EL NINO

I live four hours north of you and we finally started getting some rain in February. The hills are greened up and it looks much better than that lunar landscape of the previous six months. Still, we are very behind in rainfall. Lake Oroville is still only half full and I'm sure we'll have a bad fire season. Yeah, El Niño can't come soon enough. Really hope next winter breaks this damned drought.

Typical amount of snowfall, but extreme cold temps this year. I can handle the snow.....eff the cold. I took my first ever warm vacation to break up the cycle. It was great.
