Were the AT forums custom coded? Or are they based on the UBB standard...or something along that line?
 
The Anandtech Forums were coded in Coldfusion, a programming language similar to PHP, or ASP. They were coded by E-ZoneMedia, in which you can get a link to their site if you scroll down to the absolute bottom. ANd to answer your question, no, they were not custom coded, and Anandtech.com is just one customer of E-ZoneMedia, out of many
