How warm / hot may a GF2 Pro get

I have the Gainward GF2 Pro 450 with 4.5ns RAM. I attached a watercooling block instead of the noise heatsink + fan the card came with. Now I ran 3DMark 2001 and I notice that the card gets fairly warm on the back side.About 40° - 45° C I would say - the temperature you would take a shower at. Is that normal or should it stay pretty cold (below my body temperature). I hope I didn't misplace the cooling block.
