How valuable is this?

I have just purchased a new(to me) laptop that weighs about 40 lbs, runs DOS 3.0, has built in CGA monitor and 200 meg HDD with built in keyboard. And yes, it works and is in xlnt condition.

How would one find the value of this early compaq plus portable? It must have cost a fortune in its day.

Any ideas?🙂

The only practicle uses for that dinosaur are:

1) Paperweight
2) Doorstop
3) Cheap fun w/ a Baseball Bat...

Probably very mimimal resale value... <$50

Mod it like none ot her since nothing can fetch money, for the most part. Take the outer part of it apart, get some clear stuff to use as the cover so you can see through it all. Put some LED's in there, etc. See what you can do.

Most computers won't become antiques unless there wasn't a lot of them released. If they made a lot of those, it wont be worth much.
