How upset do you get when your team loses?

I really get into Broncos football. I knew this was a 50/50 game going in. They lost. I am depressed and feel like breaking stuff.

I can't scream and swear because of my children. I will teach them to scream "FVCK" at the top of their lungs when they are 13.

How do you deal with a big loss?

My husband is the same way - he yells and stomps around. I can shrug it off much more easily.

When Penn State lost to Michigan on the last second, I was pissed for a week (especially because of the officiating). They haven't lost other than that, and the Steelers are still in the playoff picture so that's been about it for this year.

:| Orange Bowl with four loss FSU, though.

At least the Broncos didn't blow a 23-3 lead in the fourth to a backup quarterback.... Sickening.

My wife was suprised I wasn't more pissed off after the donkeys lost. I told her it was a 50/50 game, and that happens in the NFL.

<scream> FFFUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKK </end scream>

I really get into Broncos football...
  1. Why?
I live in "Browns country", and I have no idea who they played today, or where. No idea who their quarterback is and REALLY don't care! Why should I?

I'm a 49ers fan, so last year and this year, I expect it so it doesn't bother me that much. However, a few years ago when they were going to the playoffs I'd be depressed after a loss.

I'm a Broncos fan too. I'm also an LSU fan. This has been a very bad weekend. I'll just have to wait until I get over it... which will probably be about Thursday.

I think for any kind of homer, we're usually pretty upset :)

Luckily I haven't had to be upset this year :Q

I'm a long suffering Dolphins fan who has gotten used to losing and not meeting expectations. No longer get crazy like I used to.

Homicidal! Why would I kill myself when there are so many of YOU!!!! I can only die once, YOU can die Billions of times!!!!! ;) :D

Seriously though, somewhere between Acceptance, Disappointment, and and grunting Anger. Depends on what happened. Lasts for a few minutes and I get on with life.

I don't like it. But the feeling dies down quickly. I don't think about it for more than a couple of minutes. Staying upset is too energy-draining.

depends, if the present eagles lose, i'm not concerned; if the sixers lose a regular season game, then I'm upset for a bit; when my college team loses a pretty big rivalry game, i get sad; when one of my best friends and fellow judo player gets knocked out of a tourney, then I get depressed; when the indian cricket team got beat in the world cup, i got pretty much suicidal.

But I love my sports a lot and if i killed myself then how would i get the satisfaction from when one of them wins :)

I'm from wisconsin and have grown up with the brewers.... i have accepted lossing from them.

The packers on the other hand are killing me this season! I can't hardley watch them. It will all be ok when we get Reggie Bush with our 2-14 record though.
