Gotta find out if it's my problem or widespread. In Windows 2000 Pro, I occasionally get a Kernal Stack bluescreen error and sometimes (VERY BAD!) it will wipe out my boot sector of one of my drives when I copy from one drive to another (or one drive to network) when I use the Promise ATA100 controller on my Asus A7V133. Is this a common error? It happened with a fresh install, (Build 33 of promise driver, 4in1 4.31v) so I doubt it's something I'm doing. I've since switched to using the 686B IDE ports for everything, but I'm now afraid of the well-documented bugs that exist with these ports. Is there no reliability anymore?? Thanks.
