How tore up do your jeans have to get before you stop wearing them??

I only wear shorts, I own one pair of jeans that I use when someone suggest I wear pants, like at something semi formal or what have you.
 
Depends on where I am wearing them to. I like black jeans that are in good shape, but will wear toreup ones around the house.

EDIT: I usually wear docker type pants. Or shorts.
 
My really torn up ones end up as my painting jeans. So, they usually have large holes and a variety of house paint on them. 🙂
 
I usually wear them to the point that they really can't be worn anymore. They never get comfortable until they are worn out!

Some of mine are getting pretty bad now. My pocketknife has worn a hole in the pocket 🙁
 
my gap jeans developed cm-sized holes at the corners of the back pockets... i figured if they sell brand new jeans with rips, whiskers, and other faux "weathered" features, my genuinely old jeans would blend in just fine 😀

ive never tossed out a pair because i wore em out... only cuz theyre out of style or fit
 
I've never worn out jeans. I've finally started staying in the same size (used to outgrow them), but I still have all the jeans I originally bought at this size several years ago.
 
Till they fall off. Jeans make a fairly good thorn stopper when layered, which means they get used for rabbit hunting duty after their social life is over.
