
Zipping a file or folder means compressing it into a smaller package that needs to be decrypted using a zipping software by the receiver. Zipping is used to compress files and folders so that they can be stored easily or sent over mail. Step 1
Open the Right Click Tab

Open the ‘Send to’ Drop Down Menu
Hover your cursor over to the option titled ‘Send to’ and a drop down menu will automatically appear next to it.

In this drop down menu select the first option, ‘Compressed (Zipped) Folder’. This should create a new zipped file on your desktop that has all the previously selected files or folders embedded in it.
