Green-White, Green, Orange-white, Blue, Blue-White Brown, Brown-White, Orange I believe if my college memory servers me correctly. For a crossover, flop 1&3, 2&6

Correction to the above:

Green-White, Green, Orange-white, Blue, Blue-White, ORANGE, Brown-White, Brown.

This is EIA/TIA 568A. This is also the Telco standard pinout.

For a crossover exchange the green and orange pairs on one end (if you used this pinout on both ends, you'd have an EIA/TIA 568 B standard cable).

FWIW

and in the US we mainly use 568B. O/wh on the first pin.

586B is the same as AT&T 258A which was the de facto standard before the EIA/TIA folks ever though about setting their standards.

586B has seniority and thus is better.

And it matters a lot if you have 586A on one end and 586B on the other.

best rule of thumb on this is to keep the same wiring spec as what is already in place so you don't get confused and make crossover ends by mistake.
so if your home or business is already wired with 568B, stay with it. and vice versa.
