I dropped my 1st generation Nexus 7 and cracked the screen. The screen no longer responds to any touch command. I just need to factory reset or wipe it clean. What is the easiest way beside using a hammer?

Thanks.

1. Press and hold [Power] + [Volume Down]. It will take you to bootloader.
2. Select [Boot Recovery] using volume buttons ([Up]/[Down]).
3. Wait until you see an android lying belly-up.
4. Press [Power] + [Volume Up] simultaneously. It will take you to stock recovery.
5. Using volume buttons, select [Wipe Data/Factory Reset]
6. Done.

Thanks, that worked. I kept pressing [Power] + [Volume Up] simultaneously for too long during the Andriod belly-up screen which took me the home screen every time. Just needed to quickly Press [Power] + [Volume Up] to enter the wipe data/factory reset option.
