I'm looking to waterproof some shoes...

There are sprays on amazon you can order for around $8.

Any other ways? Like, can you go to Lowes and get like a silicone spray can or something?

I use Sno-Seal on leather boots. It dries on the outside and doesn't soak into the leather like mink oil.

This is my preference also. Takes more work to put on, but it's a relaxing activity.

I use snow seal, then paraffin the seams. Then put them into a 250°f oven for a half hour.

We sell a lot of waterproofing products and sno seal seems to be the one that works the best. Mink oil won't change the color as badly as sno seal and most silicone based waterproofing products won't change the color at all, but neither on is quite as effective.
