How to verify that my P4 2.4 is actually the C model?

I received my P4 2.4C (I hope) chip and wanted to make sure before I broke the seal that it was infact the C model. Any way to verify this?

Thanks!

Have you tried searching Google for Pentium 4 processor codes? I know how to tell you if it's a "C" once you install it, but as far as I know, the only way to tell before you open the package is by the codes on the proc.

If its reatail it will be on the left hand side of the box in the round hologram sticker. It says 2.4 C and below that It will say 800MHz system bus.

if it says 533 MHz system bus then its a b.
ALso it will say supporting hyper-threading technology in the white spot on top right.

If its OEM I have no clue
