How to use Sysprep when swapping mainboards?(WinXP)

OS is WinXP Home. Need to upgrade/change from an Intel BX board to a VIA chipset/Intel CPU board.
How to reset HD so that it will boot and then re-detect all hardware devices when reconnected in the different mainboard?
Supposedly there's a GUI (graphic user interface) for Sysprep, which I don't have.
